Round Up "Early" Kickoff Movie

Wells Fargo’s Branch Manager, Trinity Hillard and State Theatre For The Arts board member, Linda McCay, welcome John Wayne to an “early” Round Up kickoff event that the $1000 donation will support at the State Theatre in Red Bluff.

March 24, 2009 - PRLog -- Center stage on Saturday, April 4, 2009  is the Shasta College, Humanities Through The Film class movie presentation of  “The Searchers” with John Wayne.  Festivities in the lobby corral  begin at 6:30 p.m.  There will be special drawings at 7 p.m. and the movie starts at 7:30 p.m.  Family friendly admission with underwriting support from Wells Fargo ….Adult $3/ Children 6-12 $2 and  under 6 are free.  

Tickets can be purchased  in advance at Fran’s Hallmark, Wild Oak and Sky River Music.

Shasta College Instructor, Linda McCay, says, “We love planning this event at the theatre as part of our class curriculum.  This continued support for the arts in education helps to make it happen both at Round Up time and during the holiday celebration in historic downtown.”  

The evening is co-sponsored by the Red Bluff Daily News as part of their continuing support for the arts and family entertainment in Tehama County.  Proceeds will benefit the State Theatre For The Arts, a non-profit organization, working towards providing Tehama County with a Community Arts Center in historic downtown Red Bluff.
