Pre-Mother’s Day Celebration Takes the Pressure Off the Holiday for Moms and Dads!

March 23, 2009 - PRLog -- A pre-Mother’s Day celebration of moms for the entire family will be the focus of an inaugural event in Brentwood this spring.  “It’s All About Mom” will take place on Saturday, May 2 at the Brentwood Center of Health, 2558 South Brentwood Boulevard, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The event features wine tasting, chair massages, and sweet treats from local businesses to help mom unwind and escape while dad and the kids shop. Nearly 20 of the hippest boutiques and mommy friendly businesses in St. Louis will be there sporting both practical and inspired Mother’s Day gifts. Kids will have fun creating cool crafts for their mom’s special day the following weekend.

“Mother’s Day is a chance to honor the many women in our lives…grandmas, aunts, sisters, best friends.  And let’s face it; many times we moms are the ones making the plans. This event is about celebrating moms and preparing EVERYONE who attends to properly pamper mom. And hey, maybe it’ll take the pressure off some mom’s having to plan their own day!” said Suzanne Tucker, a co-owner of Brentwood Center of Health and MyMommyManual.com, which are co-sponsoring “It’s All About Mom”.

Tucker and her partner at MyMommyManual.com, Ria Sharon, have lined up a diverse group of sponsors for “It’s All About Mom”, some of which include Build-A-Bear,  TLC for Kids, Time for Dinner, The Market at Busch’s Grove, Dotdotdash, Angelina Accoutrements, Mandy’s Candies and Kangaroo Kids.

Many additional sponsors have donated raffle prizes that will be given away throughout the day. A night of babysitting from TLC for Kids, a three-course dinner for four prepared and served in your home by Australian Chef Roman Petrack, and other mom-centric prizes will be raffled to anyone registering to attend the free event at http://www.mymommymanual.com/events before April 15th.
