ATLANTA, GA (March 23, 2009)-The city of Atlanta will soon experience the end of an era as The Revolu Experience and Gordon Neil present the final installment of popular dance and cultural arts event, Flava Invasion®, during the weekend of April 24-26, 2009. In its fourth year, the event, billed Flava Invasion® 4: "Chaotica", will showcase the talents of a variety of internationally-renowned salsa/Latin, Afro-Caribbean, and various other dance and music acts exposing Atlanta dancers/music enthusiasts and its cultural arts community at large, to unparalleled artistry and entertainment.  

Since 2006, revelers have converged upon the city for the annual event, which has evolved from a small salsa function limited to local and regional participants, to a prominent dance event that attracts thousands of attendees from across the world.  With a relaxed, festive atmosphere providing the backdrop, Flava Invasion® is respected as a salsa/mambo/Latin dance convention, main stage Broadway-inspired dance production, live music jam session, and celebratory social gathering wrapped up into one "flavaful" package. Flava Invasion® 4 “Chaotica” will remain true to this proven formula.

Flava Invasion 4® “Chaotica” promises to be as educational as it will be entertaining. Daytime activities will feature a series of intensive workshops, with levels ranging from novice through advanced. Class offerings will include a variety of disciplines, from such classic dances as mambo and Afro-Cuban, to more contemporary fare like hip-hop and jazz fusion. Instruction will be provided by an impressive roster of choreographers revered within the global dance community, including Juan Matos, Ana and Joel Massicot, CiCi Kelley, Sekou McMiller, Burju Hurturk, Victor Perez, Leon Rose, and Tito Ortos, all of whom will also headline the nighttime showcases. These electrifying performances will provide the start to each evening, leading into the legendary parties, featuring the finest DJs and artists in Latin music and more and some of the best social dancers on the circuit.

Flava Invasion 4® “Chaotica,” will return to the Hilton Downtown, the site of last year’s installment.  The hotel is centrally located in the heart of Atlanta, near many of the city's most popular attractions. With its fantastic location and the quality of its accommodations, the Hilton will provide the perfect setting for this history-making affair.
