The laser machine will increase the quality and integrity of the welds in our jewelry, thus providing longer lasting jewelry. The micro pave microscope will help our goldsmiths improve the detail and precision of our diamond setting. This will prevent stone loss and improve wear-ability of the jewelry. Our high-resolution prototyping equipment enables us to create more intricate jewelry designs that weren't previously possible. "
While custom jewelry design used to mean watching the jeweler draw out a rough sketch on the back of an envelope, times have changed. The introduction of computers into this industry has resulted in customers being shown their designs in 3D, eliminating the dreaded problems of miscommunication and incorrect interpretation of a design request.
"The computerized equipment is also utilized in the jewelry manufacturing, enabling far more intricate settings, engraving, and carvings. Highly complex designs and accuracy are now readily available to the jewelry customer seeking one-offs." explained Andrew.
