Typing For “U” Announces a Name Change
Lilburn, GA. — March 21, 2009 — Typing for “U” announced that the company has changed its name to The Virtual Office Associate. This is, according to president and owner, Jackie Anthony is keeping with the times and changing technology in transcription services. “The old name suggests a typewriter or a word processing machine and nothing about computers or the Internet,” she said.
The company has been in operation since 1995, and provides transcription services for small business, entrepreneurs and the legal community. Services ranged from typing screen plays, medical and legal transcription and market research interviews.
With the name change, come a new business strategy, new company logo and more focused services to attract more business and increase the client base.
The Virtual Office Associate sees an opportunity for business growth in this tightened economy. The reason is, according to Ms. Anthony, companies that are laying off administrative and secretarial staff, must continue to provide a high level of professional services to their clients. Ms. Anthony has worked for major law firms in New York City and Atlanta, and has over twenty five years of administrative and secretarial experience.
