This workshop will feature rhythm, pulse, and improvisational exercises towards developing confidence and dexterity. Traditional rhythms from around the world will be explored in a joyful, safe and non-competitive atmosphere. Participants are asked to bring a drum, if they have one. A limited number will be available.
Master percussionist, John Marshall performs on concert stages, in radio, television and on film. His performances include drumming traditions of the Middle East, North and South India, West Africa, Central Asia and the Caribbean. He performs with the classical/jazz/
