US Fidelis Employees Committed To Serving Their Community

Cory and Darain Atkinson, owners of USfidelis, hope to spread inspiration to others to contribute in their own unique ways.

Rhea Ford has worked for USfidelis for 3 years and is committed to making every customer experience a valuable one. Early in her career at USfidelis, Ford's manager, Jeremy Nemens told her "a customer doesn't care what you have to say until they know that you care about them."   Since then, Ford says her most memorable moments at USfidelis are when a grateful customer with whom she spent a lot of time assisting calls her just to hi and see how things are going.

"The fact that she took the time to thank me for my effort was more than I could ask for," said Ford.

Ford is not only dedicated to assisting USfidelis customers but has committed her free time to volunteering for Autism Speaks and the Children's ministry at her church. When asked about her commitment to Autism Speaks she said "most people don't know how serious Autism Spectrum Disorders are until it affects someone around you. Supporting Autism Speaks can draw awareness not only to the growing number of people affected by this disorder, but will hopefully increase resources and help people to understand how to treat certain behaviors."

When asked what volunteering means to her Ford said, "I think that when you start working for or living your life for something beyond yourself you start to see a bigger picture; a picture of unity, respect and love. I'd rather make a difference in lives than make a million dollars (and that's the truth). When you have a purpose, it seems like you have a clear path to walk on. Life is short; why not do something valuable with it while you can?" Says Ford.
