Following consultation and feedback from intermediaries, the company has developed a new search and filter capability which will be available on the next version of its market leading sourcing system, due to be released mid 2009.
By using the new system intermediaries will have the option of selecting and reviewing all direct, or introducer only, products to demonstrate to clients that a complete whole of market search can be conducted and ensure that the most appropriate mortgage products can be identified.
Mark Lofthouse, CEO of Mortgage Brain, comments, “We have an ongoing dialogue with our customers to ascertain their needs both now and in the future and having the capability of researching and comparing introducer and / or direct products when conducting a mortgage search for their clients is something that more and more have been asking for.
“Interestingly, however, a number of lenders have been reluctant to provide us with the details of their direct only products. To ensure that brokers can offer a truly independent and whole of market advisory service we are actively encouraging these lenders to reconsider their position so that we can deliver a more comprehensive solution to intermediaries.”
