Jared Balis, the owner of UtahInsurance.org, has launched a new website called UtahNetCare.com. Its purpose is to educate Utah residents about NetCare Basic Health Care Plan that will be offered to Utah residents starting January 1st, 2010. The NetCare plan comes in response to Jon Huntsman Jr.’s Healthcare Reform Task Force and his 10 year plan to reform healthcare in Utah.
NetCare will be a guaranteed issue health plan and will available to Utah residents who have otherwise been considered uninsurable. Keeping up with the latest advancements with NetCare has been confusing and difficult. Now there is a comprehensive online resource for Utah residents to stay up-to-date on advancements with the plan. UtahNetCare.com provides resources including news articles, opinions, videos, and information regarding related legislation.
Utah has nearly 300,000 residents without health insurance. According to Jared Balis, owner of UtahInsurance.org, “The Utah NetCare plan is a step forward in getting those people covered.”
