About the Author
Donna Lee Schillinger is an award-winning editor and publisher. She has a master’s degree in cultural anthropology and served in the Peace Corps. After a decade of social work experience, including several years as director of a homeless shelter for single mothers, Schillinger turned wordsmith, began homeschooling her daughter and caring for her elderly grandparents. Schillinger founded On My Own Now Ministries in 2008 to reach young adults, ages 17 to 23, with biblical multimedia to strengthen their faith, encourage nonconformity with the larger society and stress wise choices in health, relationships and finances.
