New hope and relief for allergy sufferers: By combining the knowledge, expertise and synergy of Quantum Technology diagnosis, Nutrition and the latest discoveries in the field of Kinesiology, Synergy Integrated Medical Centre is offering a new community initiative again – an Allergy Support Group with free monthly meetings in their clinic on Al Wasl Road.

Food allergies and sensitivities are on the rise in the UAE and the diagnosis is difficult since symptoms vary from person to person. Food allergies can provoke many reactions that result in number of physical or emotional health problems. There is a confusion present amongst the sufferers as most of them have a reaction to many foods. There is also a doubt: where to start from and what doctor or therapist to see first?
An estimated one in three people has an allergy and the new effective solution is needed!
Synergy now presents an educational platform to discuss understanding and treating the allergies bringing together three experts and their integrated approaches covering full range of support.
The three Synergy therapists are on a mission to help the patients with the advice towards the correct diagnosis and right treatment options in order to bring the body back to health and balance:
1. Dr Parviz Rashvand – Naturopathic Doctor (the pioneer of Quantum Medicine in UAE)
2. Maureen Callister – Kinesiologist and
3. Kathleen Farren – Nutritional Therapist
Allergies have different etiologies. They may happen due to a genetical order of intolerance, a weakness of the digestive system in dealing with certain foods, or an overreaction of the immune system to a particular substance. It is estimated that up to 40% of the population have a delayed reaction to food. There are now chemicals in our air, water, food, clothes and homes. Also, what is often thought to be an allergy may actually be a food intolerance because symptoms are the same or similar.
