WHISPERS FROM OUR UNIVERSE - MAC KNIFE PAINTINGS
The twelve paintings of this series were prepared by first using the artist’s established MAC Knife Technique ™ to carve random grooves into each of the 32 x 40 inch foam boards. Then, the paintings were completed by creatively brushing acrylic paints over the surface until, one painting per day, the first twelve paintings were created to produce this titillating new series. The plan is to create additional paintings until an undisclosed number of paintings are produced. The second set of twelve paintings as planned for next series will be titled Organic Interludes of Spring.

What's Inside this New Novel:
During the creation of his twelve vibrant paintings abstract expressionist Edward Longo began referring to his inspirational images as, Divine Interventions of The Gods. In producing one painting a day for 12 consecutive days, Longo not only began feeling empowered, he became so highly motivated he continued to focus on the images until bringing his artistic prose and penchant for writing to a new level. It was actually this series of paintings that influenced him to go a step further to create his novel, consisting of
A ‘Reader’s Digest’ Gathering of Scientific Terms and Astronomical Explanations Regarding the Evolutions and the Origins of Our Universe.
As the idea began to formulate in his head, the artist, thinking now as author, began to see how he could feasibly develop an entire chapter for each of the twelve paintings. As the text began to unfold Longo decided to incorporate his knack of poetry in combination with the scientific language as the knowledge unfolded. The word “unfolded”

WHISPER: Of particular importance is one of the experiments on Cluster that is that it is used to study plasma is called WHISPER. This is the French-led instrument that measures electron density as the spinning spacecraft sweep around the planet. The faint radio signal that fills our universe is the echo of the beginning of the universe. This signal, called the Cosmic Microwave Background radiation, was first detected by accident in 1964 but has since been measured in detail by a number of experiments. These measurements provide a rich information set that enables us to determine how the universe began, how galaxies formed and what the eventual fate of the universe might be.
