TFCN Network Reception at Mie n Yu 19 March 2009 - Live Performer - Special Drink & Appetizer Menu

PR Log (Press Release) – Mar 17, 2009 – TFCN.us Social Group is holding a network reception at Mie-n-Yu (3125 M Street, NW) in the heart of Old Georgetown. Members of TFCN Social Group are sharing in the ambiance that is Mie n Yu. The fusion of Asian, Mediterranean, North African, American and European ingredients with authentic techniques is achieved via Executive Chef Tim Elliott's presentation of Silk Road Celebrations. As a long known top dining destination in historic Georgetown, Mie n Yu offers acclaimed cuisine amidst ornate dining rooms and lounges of it's M Street location. The short menu and drink specials are extended from 5:30 through 9:00 p.m. for TFCN.us participants and include Tea Soaked Duck, Sashimi Calamari, and Tandoori Chicken.

There will be a live belly dance performance following a formal introduction of Mr. Alexander George - curator of TFCN.us, who will be accompanied by his wife and family, in the famed 'Bird Cage' reservation area of Mie n Yu.

Ms. Donna L. Quesinberry, President of DonnaInk, TFCN's Social Group Administrator, decided to offer network receptions to TFCN member after receiving her invitation to join from the man behind this progressive federal social network (Mr. George) and she states,

"Membership continues to increase since I began participating around 200 members in September of 2008. Nearly 10,000 member strong at this time, and growing exponentially by 1000 new members per month, there was no other way to meet members without holding group events as far as I am concerned. Of course, when you converse with folks and develop associations these members become part of your day-to-day life and you want to meet them in person. Now that our network receptions are moving forward, we will be offering art opening gatherings, formal events (plays|operas) meet ups at reduced rates, training venues and athletic gatherings with the aspiration to hold at least one national event this year.

TFCN opens a window for federal contract community members shared in a Web 2.0 environment that is progressively evolving to a 3.0 virtual scheme. This network represents the future and delivers a balanced (transparent) playing field for federal contract participants. TFCN.us will remain a valuable resource the federal contract community will continue to benefit from, kudos to Mr. George and his wife Mia for their success in this endeavor."
