Askin Ozcan, a Turkish-Canadian author based in Stockholm, Sweden, was working with his books, as usual, on Saturday morning ( March 14) in his home in Handen, a suburb of Stockholm. Suddenly, the plastic armchair he was sitting on collapsed, broke into pieces and he fell on the floor. As he fell, he crushed his head strongly against the wall.
He immediately went to the hospital and was told by the nurse that in despite of headache and pain on the backside of his head, he should be allright. No loss of memory happened, but the tragic accident left him in a shock "which still didn't recover after three days" says Ozcan.
