Deep Sea Diver Dives in with "New Caves"

PR Log (Press Release) – Mar 17, 2009 – Deep Sea Diver is the stage name of singer/songwriter Jessica Dobson. Having been on tour for the past year with Beck as his lead guitarist, she is no stranger to the stage and has developed a commanding presence that draws you in with each arresting chord.


Deep Sea Diver got her start on Atlantic Records at the age of 20, and spent time in New York recording with Modest Mouse producer Dennis Herring and then time in Seattle with Band of Horses/Built to Spill producer Phil Ek. She is currently self-releasing a new EP that contains songs recorded by Matt Wignall (Cold War Kids), Dave Larring and Phil Ek. Along with having co-writtten a song with friend Matt Vasquez for the latest Delta Spirit album, and getting ready to open on the west coast for Conor Oberst (Bright Eyes) and tour Japan in March with Beck, she is working on her next full length album due out in June 2009.
