In celebration of Women's Month, I-Choose-Us.com launched its latest topic-focused resource, the Marital First Aid Toolkit. The 12-month membership program aims to teach members how to save their marriage. Tips to save a failing marriage are delivered through weekly E-mails.
"Marriage provides the primary relationship to many women, and most married women would save their marriage if they knew how," says Darlyn Burkle, founder of I-Choose-Us.com (http://www.i-
"We developed the Marital First Aid Toolkit for women who want to avoid divorce and save their marriage," Burkle adds.
Members of the Marital First Aid Toolkit will learn, among others: the most common marriage killers; proven marriage menders; how to master the art of compromise; how poor communication destroys relationships;
The 12-month toolkit provides marriage advice weekly. The lessons address the most common causes of divorce, including financial issues, infidelity, sexual dysfunction, and mid-life changes.
"These conflicts are not insurmountable,"
Burkle also believes that, unless the marriage is abusive, it is probably worth saving. Divorce has long-lasting negative effects on children, but it also affects adults. Many divorced individuals plunge into poverty and poor health after a divorce.
The Marital First-Aid Toolkit is the third topic-focused resource to be provided by I-Choose-Us.com. In January, the women's exclusive membership site rolled out the Money Saving Toolkit, followed by the Bride's Survival Toolkit in February. All resources from I-Choose-Us.com aim to give practical information and tools for all aspects of a woman's life.
