Morrant Launch New Cricket Bat Range for 2009

There are three shapes in the range with different models within these styles. Each has been specially designed with a particular type of cricketer or game in mind.

This shorter blade has a purpose as it allows more wood to be concentrated behind the sweet spot where it is needed. The T20 offers players incredible feel and power thanks to the combination of a bowed blade, contoured profile and massive edges. Both the T20 Destroyer and Strike models are made from good quality unbleached English willow and have a weight range of between two pounds and nine ounces and two pounds and thirteen ounces. The junior model T20 conforms to conventional junior cricket bat sizes and is made from Kashmir willow for affordable performance. Sizes start at Size 2 and go up to Harrow.

Finally Morrant launch the P40 cricket bat designed for all round stroke makers. The P40 has a contoured blade to provide a large sweet spot in a lightweight cricket bat. Thick edges and a bowed blade enhance the P40’s superb performance. This cricket bat has been beautifully balanced for a light pick up which is superb. The P40 Strike model is made from good quality unbleached English willow and the P40 Attack model is made from quality bleached English willow. Both offer great value performance. The weight range for the P40 cricket bats is two pounds and seven ounces to two pounds ten ounces approximately.
