Following redundancy from a global pharmaceutical company in 2008, Helen decided it was the perfect time to combine her organisational talents with a true passion for weddings. “So many people have commented on my unusual career transition, but for me there are a lot of similarities between being a scientist and a wedding planner. In both roles you have to stay calm under pressure, be incredibly organised and plan your work weeks ahead, and also have the ability to work on lots of different projects simultaneously”
Having planned her own wedding whilst in her final year of university in 2006, Helen has a clear understanding of the stress and pressure associated with organising such a special and personal event. This is a CD-ROM guide packed with over 60 pages of professional advice on how to plan a wedding, plus interactive tools for the bride and groom to manage their guest list and supplier payments, as well as monitor their budget. In addition, the couple also receive Helen’s expert advice and support throughout their planning. Helen comments:
“There are lots of brides that do a fabulous job of organising their own wedding, but with so much on offer these days it can be difficult for them to know where to start and what to do.
