PINEVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA - Carolina Tire & Service Center, a leading Charlotte, NC area retailer of tires and automotive repair services, announced today that it has become a major sponsor of the 1st Annual Regency Hospice (http://www.regencyhospice.com) – “Miles of Hope” 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run, which takes place on Saturday, May 30th, starting at 8 a.m. at the Winthrop University Athletic Campus in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
"This event is an exciting way to support Regency Hospice by sponsoring their “Miles of Hope” run that will directly benefit uninsured patients in York, Lancaster and Chester Counties who are eligible for hospice services," said Carolina Tire & Service Center President & CEO Jim Seidel. Along with sponsoring the event, Carolina Tire & Service Center will also be donating $2.00 per tire sold during the month of May specifically for this event.
Runners are encouraged to include a financial donation with their race entry fee on the day of the race. Proceeds from the race and donations will go to the Regency Hospice Foundation.
