March 15, 2009 - PRLog -- Kevin Price, Host of the Price of Business Radio Show (M-F at 11 am on CNN 650 and on AOL Radio) has announced that he will have his next remote at the Black Walnut Cafe in Sugar Land on April 8, starting at 10.30 am and the beneficiary of 10 percent receipts and donations will be Jobs Ministry Southwest.

This organization describes itself as follows: “Jobs Ministry Southwest is dedicated to helping all job seekers, from entry level to senior executive, better manage their career transitions by presenting a wide variety of programs and services. On a weekly basis we provide our members with General Sessions and various Career Management Groups covering numerous disciplines and industry segments. Workshops and special programs are designed to provide our members with the opportunity to network with other professionals and develop skills to improve themselves and their job change outcome.”

Kevin Price, Host of the Price of Business (M-F at 11 am on CNN 650), said “this is the type of group that I absolutely admire. Instead of merely providing the means to sustain themselves a little longer or one of the many programs that further fosters dependence, this group changes lives one at a time and I’m proud to have it as the center of one of our remotes.”

At a remote for nonprofits, the organization receives 10 percent of the receipts during lunch and people are invited to donate to the organization. If you are with a nonprofit and wish to be considered as a beneficiary of a remote or if you own or manage a restaurant and want to enjoy a large crowd at your location, let us know. Call Stacy at 832.643.2953 or email here at SWalston@HoustonBusinessMediaGroup.com.

This is one in an on going series of remotes, benefiting groups such as Limbs of Love, the WorkFaith Connection, the Get Together, and now Jobs Ministry Southwest.

The Price of Business Show is planning on making this a year dedicated to nonprofit organizations that are making a difference in the community. “Houston is a big hearted city and our neighbors are facing considerable challenges. I’m glad we can help make a difference,” Price said. Typically as many as 200 people attend these popular networking event with opportunities of meeting others both at the event and to speak to thousands on the radio.

"That is a unique aspect of our events," Price said," in addition to getting to visit with hundreds there many individuals will get to tell thousands about their business to the thousands who listen to my program daily.

The Price of Business is the longest running program on CNN 650. Kevin Price is a nationally recognized radio broadcaster who has twice received the prestigious George Washington Honors Medal from the Freedoms Foundation in Valley Forge in Communications.
