Troxler Electronic Laboratories, Inc. worldwide leader in precision quality control and measurement equipment for the highway and construction industry has engaged LeanForward to design and develop its new online training courseware as well as power Troxler’s Online University. Troxler’
s Online University will be powered by LearnPoint, LeanForward’
s hosted learning management system (LMS) and will enable portable nuclear gauge operators to satisfy their regulatory training requirements via elearning, thereby reducing training costs and minimizing training related downtime.
“We knew LearnPoint was the right application to power our online university because it provides end users with a user-friendly and visually appealing interface while also providing the documentation required to satisfy the Nuclear Regulatory Commission’s (NRC) regulatory requirements.”
said Eric Dunkelberg, General Manager of Troxler. LearnPoint is a SCORM compliant LMS that also provides ecommerce functionality so Troxler can charge users for its regulatory elearning.
Troxler also engaged LeanForward’
s custom elearning development team to design and develop its web-based training (WBT) courses. LeanForward’
s expertise in Instructional Design and Instructional Technology will ensure that Troxler’s courseware provides learners with the knowledge they need to safely handle, operate and store nuclear gauges. The two elearning courses Troxler will be offering are Nuclear Gauge Safety and HAZMAT Re-certification.
