Riverside Eye Center offers the latest Surgical, Laser Eye Care services to Auburn patients

PRLog (Press Release) – Mar 14, 2009 – Auburn (ME): Quality eye care and laser services are now nearer to Auburn residents with the opening of Riverside Eye Center facility at the Center Street, Auburn, Maine (ME), this week. Dr. Martin Whitaker announced the opening of Riverside Eye Center in Auburn with an aim to provide dedicated patient care using the latest technology. Riverside Eye Center is located at greater Lewiston, Bridgton, Naples, Lakes Region, and Auburn, Maine, under the medical direction of Martin Whitaker, M.D.

The Eye Center will provide comprehensive services to the patients which includes routine eye examinations, advanced cataract surgery using near vision multifocal lens implants such as the ReSTOR® Lens Implant, Crystalens® Lens Implant, and the ReZoom™ Lens Implant, as well as diagnosis and laser treatment of diabetic retinopathy, diagnosis, medical and laser treatment of glaucoma, diagnosis and treatment of macular degeneration including therapeutic injections of Avastin, Macugen and Lucentis and diagnosis and treatment of dry eyes.

These include diagnostic tools such as Ocular Coherence Tomography (OCT) and retina treatments such as Avastin, Macugen and Lucentis Injections for macular degeneration.
