Southern Experience in 4 days
Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City arrival
Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City at any time and transfer to your hotel.
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City – Cu Chi Tunnels (B,L)
Enjoy a city tour of Ho Chi Minh City's famous and historic landmarks; be guided along Dong Khoi Street, past the Rex Hotel, Ho Chi Minh Square, Municipal Theatre, Notre Dame Cathedral, Reunification Palace, and the War Remnants Museum. Later, leave the city and travel to the Cu Chi Tunnels (approx 1 hour) which stretch over 250km underground providing a remarkable insight in to the Vietnam War.
Day 3: Ho Chi Minh – Mekong Delta (B,L,D)
After breakfast, travel to My Tho to board your boat and visit one of the islands located in the middle of the Mekong River. Visit a fruit orchard and sample some of the local produce, then board a smaller boat ideal for winding through the narrow canals. Tonight you spend the night at a traditional Mekong Delta home.
Day 4: Mekong Delta – Ho Chi Minh City (B)
Relax and enjoy the countryside views as we return to Ho Chi Minh City where you will be transferred to your hotel or to the airport depending on your onward travel plans. If you are leaving Ho Chi Minh City today please do not book any onward flights until after 5pm.
