DENVER, CO- EvoCouture, the biggest fashion show event of its kind, will bring internationally-
Linda Loudermilk, whose luxury eco designs have been worn by Jennifer Beals, Debra Messing and Jane Fonda, will be one of the headliners in a day full of shows. Gary Harvey, creative director of Levi’s Europe will also be designing for the event, along with Deborah Lindquist, who has dressed trendsetters such as Sharon Stone, Gwen Stefani, Paris Hilton and Charlize Theron. Models will showcase the designers’ “eco” fashions on a runway designed specifically for the EvoCouture, bringing the glitz and glamour of the New York catwalk to the Mile High City. The all-day event will include guest performers, exhibitions and a VIP meet and greet with designers and celebrities.
Proceeds from the event will be donated to Autism Speaks and Defeat Autism Now! A growing school of thought links autism with environmental toxins, and Eco-Fashion is part of a global movement toward environmentally responsible practices in design.
Daniel Young, personal chef to Denver Nuggets star Carmelo Anthony and contender for President Barack Obama’s White House chef will also appear at EvoCouture:

Joey Travolta, actor John Travolta’s brother will is also be appearing at EvoCouture to give an informal talk on the Travolta Film Camp for Autistic Kids. Joey founded Actors for Autism, and produced an award-winning documentary on Autism.
April is Autism Awareness Month, and finding a cure is something close to organizer Mary Spicer’s heart. “I am the mother of a 15 year old boy who has Asperger’s Syndrome,” says Spicer, “We are creating an event that brings together resources and products that help and support those of us dealing with Autism and to raise awareness in an enjoyable way.”
