A new consultant firm has hit the industry. Advanced Safety Consultants, Inc., located in Jennings, Louisiana is a leader in the regulatory and compliance business. Serving primarily the oil and gas industry, Advanced Safety Consultants, Inc does much more than regulatory and compliance. Kirk Menard, President of Advanced Safety Consultants, Inc says that it also trains and certifies personnel in forklift operations, permit-required confined space, crane/rigger, firewatchers, bloodborne pathogens, hazard awareness, and will soon offer water survival, H2S, 10 hour and 30 hour OSHA cards for both general industry and construction.
Advanced Safety Consultants, Inc is managed by Dana Allan. Mr. Allan is Chief Operating Officer and has many years of regulatory and compliance experience. Advanced Safety Consultants, Inc currently offers site specific audits both onshore and offshore, contractor audits, environmental management, oil spill clean-up, technical writing of policies and procedures, onsite safety trainer supervisors (STS), onsite firewatchers, onsite and stand-by rescue teams for confined space, confined space entry, confined space attendants, medics, and onsite and offsite trainers. Kirk Menard and Dana Allan states that their idea was to offer all the services needed under one company. Many companies do not want to contract with a host of different companies, this way, we can supply all our clients' needs by providing all services in house.
In today's economic times, Advanced Safety Consultants, Inc continues to be a leader in safety and training. Their contractual obligations within the industries they serve are continuing to grow and major oil and gas companies use their services every day. "We are here to save lives" and we believe that all accidents are preventable."
We are growing, says Kirk Menard. Mr. Allan has been an asset to our company and we will continue to grow. Future plans include becoming an OSHA outreach training center to provide job training, which is so badly needed in today's economic times. Our motto says it all "Working for a Safer Tomorrow, Today" and we will continue our obligation to provide a safe and healthful work place for all personnel in the industry they serve.
