NetMotion Wireless Receives Canadian Patent for Mobile VPN Technology

NetMotion Wireless, a leading provider of mobile productivity and management software, today announced that it has recently been awarded Canadian Patent No. 2303987 by the Canadian Intellectual Property Office related to its Mobile VPN (Virtual Private Network) software, Mobility XE™.  NetMotion’s Mobility XE is utilized by more than 1,400 business and agencies around the globe to provide secure wireless connections to applications across wireless coverage gaps and data networks. The additional patent adds to NetMotion's holdings of nine patents covering techniques for roaming across disparate networks in the United States and Canada.

Recently, NetMotion Wireless announced that TELUS Mobility in Canada was offering NetMotion software through TELUS' business sales channels as a new monthly subscription offer.  NetMotion customers in Canada today, include: E-Comm, Innovapost, St Elizabeth Health Care, Terasen and Vancouver Coastal Health.
