Hundreds show up to the town of Globe, Arizona to check out the Treasure Hunters Roadshow and see what some of their items may bring. Toys, Antiques, Coins, Gold, Silver, and Jewelry are brought in with high hopes of hitting the jackpot and walking out with a large check!! The Treasure Hunters Roadshow spent over $100,000 in the town of Globe to help and stir up the economy in these trying times. Checks, Checks, Checks, is all we were able to see leaving the hotel when hundreds of people sold their broken jewelry, coins, and silver dollars! The atmosphere was jolting when you walked in and saw all the swords, and military memorabilia, dolls that you would never see in a lifetime lined the halls, and gold and silver filled the pockets of the locals in this town! We interviewed several of the residents some of them literally bouncing of the walls just happy to be able to make their house or car payment for the month. One lady brought in several coins, one a rare one and she walked out with a check for over $1100, “I had no clue the 2 coins were worth more than even a dollar” she stated. “I was needing to make the rest of my house payment for the month and I had no clue how I was going to do it and then I saw The Treasure Hunters Roadshow in the paper and thought I can take those coins over there to get a few dollar and I never expected over $1,000!” Mary was bouncing of the walls when she received her check! Many other stories unfolded with trying times and the economy and a lot of residents were very grateful the Treasure Hunters Roadshow is in town helping to fuel the economy in a trying time. We spoke with Tony Enright the manager for several teams country wide and he said the Treasure Hunters Roadshow spends around a Million Dollars a week from all their teams! Tony stated, “sometimes we have folks crying when we give them their check, they are so happy to just be able to pay the bills so it’s a fun job and rewarding knowing that you are helping change some lives as well in some cases put food on the table in some homes.” The Treasure Hunters Roadshow visits around 12 different cities a week with a lot of the same stories we heard today! It seems to us that the Treasure Hunters Roadshow is making quite a stir in the country even through the tough times. So from several of the residents we spoke with they wanted to say a big THANKS to the TREASURE HUNTERS ROADSHOW!
