Vaughn’s BBQ Sauce now available to the public!

March 11, 2009 - PRLog -- COLUMBIA, SC – Vaughn’s BBQ, a family owned and operated business, has just bottled the first ‘for sale to the public’ batch of BBQ Sauce.

Family members have used Vaughn’s BBQ sauce, a family recipe originally created by Nana Vaughn herself around 1934, on everything from ribs to fish. The sauce is a sweet combination of ingredients that really is like nothing else in the category.  

For years, friends, relatives and even first time tasters of this sauce have been wondering why we don’t bottle it and sell it to the public. Well, now we are! Bob (Buck) Vaughn and his sons Rob and Tim along with ‘Uncle’ Jeff have put the wheels in motion and produced the first batch of sauce that can be sold to the public. We’ve created an attractive package and worked in the tagline “Pleasuring Meat Since 1934”, because that is essentially what Vaughn’s BBQ sauce has been doing for more than 70 years.

The sauce is a sweet and sour barbeque blend that is a deep red with chucks of onion and pepper – ingredients you can really see. It tastes great on just about anything. “I crave it,” said Patricia Allen, mother in law and recent first time taster. “I even put it on bologna sandwiches!”
