We have heard this story too many times. Meals on wheels will not accept the responsibility to unlock your door to bring you your meals.
But you want to keep your door locked... you don't want to leave it unlocked all the time.
What do you do?
The solution is as easy as a wireless remote controlled doorknob or deadbolt.
You can remotely LOCK and UNLOCK your door from over 150 feet away!
You simply replace your existing lock with a new lock that is completely wireless and controlled by a remote control button.
What are some of the uses of a a RF Radio Frequency Remote Door Lock?
- You never have to get up to let someone in your home
- With the door knob the door will lock automatically after someone enters
- Keep children from running in and out all the time
- Remotely unlock your door for 'meals-on-wheels'
- Unlock your door for caretakers
- You won't have to give out keys anymore
...... and many many more uses
Assistive Technology Services has worked with agencies to accommodate this situation. We have provided remote controlled deadbolts to the disabled person.
This allows the disabled person the ability to remotely unlock the deadbolt then allow the caregiver access to the home. When the caregiver leaves the disabled person presses a button on the remote and re-locks the door.
We have successfully tested this at well over 150 feet..
A remote deadbolt is just one of the solutions for the disabled that Assistive Technology Services continues to pioneer.
