James Largotta, General Manager of Xandros Latin America was on hand and offered some advise on low cost alternatives to otherwise costly services that businesses today rely on.
Speaking to a hotel conference room full of business owners Largotta said, 'many of you are looking for ways to cut operational expenses and most are not looking at core services like email". Largotta went on to say, "everyone relys on email in todays world and eliminating it or sacrificing features or security is not an option for most of you here today. Xandros has low cost alternatives to core services like email and collaboration, services that you must have today in order to do business."
Xandros' Scalix email and collaboration product can reduce upfront and on going costs as much as thirty percent compared to competitive products with the same features. Largotta said, "it simply makes good sense to reduce your operational expenses anyway and certainley in these economic times even more so. Just think of what you could use that thirty percent savings for, I suppose allot."
