March 11, 2009 - PRLog -- As times continue to get harder, with no end in sight, people all across the nation are cleaning out their closets, their garages, their jewelry boxes. Why? The Treasure Hunters Roadshow is coming to town! You might ask, What is the Treasure Hunters Roadshow?
The Treasure Hunters Roadshow is a fast, fun, easy way to turn those broken necklaces and unmatched ear rings, those dusty collectibles that you can’t remember why you saved them, those coins that are taking up drawer space, into quick cash.

We interviewed with Jeff Parsons owner and President of the Treasure Hunters Roadshow based out of Athens, Illinois. We have heard and read so much about the company that we wanted to go straight to the source and find out what all the buzz is about. When we spoke to Jeff he told us how he has been collecting antiques and toys for over 15 years! He started Treasure Hunters Roadshow mainly focusing on Toys and Antiques. As the company grew he began venturing into the Coins market and with the thriving Gold and silver prices his group of teams now collect just about anything!
The way the system works is you bring in your collectible items, some new but mostly old items and you have them looked over by an expert in Jeff’s company. If it is something that the company is interested in then they will call some of their collectors and get a price or a bid on your item for their collector to purchase. If you agree on the price then they pay right then and there with a company check! Pretty straight and forward we thought so we went and visited one of there shows to just see for ourselves how smooth this process was and experience all the hype that was going on. As you wait outside some may say “I don’t want to wait an hour to have my items looked at” however it was very interesting because you were able to see all the items that everyone was bringing in and here the “story” behind each collectible. After about an hour wait we were able to then see one of the experts. We didn’t have any “items” per say but we were able to quiz the buyer on his knowledge and Tony knew quite a bit and what he was unable to answer he made a quick phone call and found out. Just as Jeff Parsons has explained the process was very smooth, professional, and quite simple. Jeff told us “we have around 12 teams running every week and usually spend anywhere from $60,000 to $150,000 a week per team!!! That’s right at a Million dollars a week that the Treasure Hunters Roadshow is putting back into the homes and lives of our communities. So with a special thanks to the Treasure Hunters Roadshow we say “Keep up the good work and THANK YOU!”
