NEW YORK, NY -- That extra punch of color was evident on the runways of DVF and Nicole Miller this New York Fashion Week. Are you now looking to add some color to that humdrum bedroom? New York interior designer Johanna Santos from Deco by Designers, Inc. thinks you should look to your headboard to make an impactful statement. Her Victorian and art deco nailhead styled headboards prove that style doesn't start and end with your Louboutins.
She mixes textures and materials for a chic and refined look which, with even the simplest crisp white sheets, seamlessly creates panache in any room. Additionally, your home's backdrop is key when putting up the "for sale" sign!
Johanna's designs are featured in the March 2009 cover of Traditional Home magazine.

ABOUT JOHANNA SANTOS:
Johanna Santos began her career as assistant to an interior decorator in Manhattan. Every day, as she interacted with homeowners and designers and guided them to the triumphant completion of their projects, she would dream of owning her own interior design business, where her attention to detail and eye for style could reign. By 2006, dreams got bigger, and confident that she had enough potential to succeed in this industry, together with her husband, Architect Luis Guerrero, she opened her very own company, Deco By Designers, Inc.
As of today, she has successfully serviced homeowners specifically throughout the New York tri-state area but also nationwide. Johanna’s specialties include modern & traditional custom drapery with “green” efficient lining and interlining for added luxury, finest upholstery with attention to detail, custom laminated blackout shades, and custom furniture created with eco-friendly materials. She’s well-known for her classically dramatic with eye catching motifs beautifully detailed with nails heads, and seating pieces embellished with soft curves and elaborate pleats.
