Todae launches the Nova 3w LED Light, a simple drop-in replacement for standard halogen downlight bulbs. The new LED Downlight uses less than 10% of the energy of a standard halogen downlight as well as producing 90% less heat. A standard 50w halogen downlight turns 90% of the electricity it uses into heat and only 10% into light, whereas LED technology works inversely to this by turning most of the energy it consumes into light. Unlike traditional lights that last around 1000 hours, the Nova lasts for 30,000 hours, meaning that globes won’t need to be changed for years.
LED technology has been around for quite some time but has not been available to replace traditional lighting until very recently. The new Nova LED Light is a breakthrough in technology by using advanced heat sinking technology to enable maximum light output within the same size globe and a standard halogen downlight.
The Nova 12v MR16 LED Downlight is designed to simply fit straight into to your normal halogen fitting. Just take out the halogen and replace it with the Nova, it is as simple as that.
