Patrick Anderson
On Saturday, March 14th, Modern Skate and Surf will be hosting an open skate session at its skate park in Royal Oak to benefit Patrick Anderson. The sessions runs from 9:30 PM to Midnight and the cost is $10, with all proceeds going to Patrick. Patrick, 23 years old, became a paraplegic following a snowboarding accident. Patrick has been a part of the Modern Skate family for years teaching lessons, clinics and helping the youth in various capacities. He is currently living in Royal Oak with his family in their dining room. We would like to raise money to help the Anderson family build a first floor handicap accessible addition with a bedroom and restroom for Patrick.
