Modest Prom Dresses under $150

JenClothing.com went live just in time for the 2008 prom season so this is only the second year that JenClothing.com is offering modest prom dresses for sale online. JenClothing.com founder Jennifer Loch has been a pioneer in the modest fashion industry. Through her involvement with the modesty movement Jennifer noticed a need for affordable modest prom dresses. JenClothing was created to meet that need.
"Although 'in your face' immodesty is the norm in the media, there is a strong modesty movement that is steadily gaining ground," says Loch. Although Jennifer is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which stresses modesty for male and female members of all ages, Jennifer says that young women of many faiths write her to say they appreciate what she is doing to make modest prom dresses more accessible. The JenClothing.com modest prom dress line for 2009 includes more full-length gowns than their offerings in 2008. "The 2008 prom season taught us a lot about what our audiences wants and so this year we hope to do a better job of bringing them what they want," says Jennifer. Her choice of dresses this year is also sensitive to the budget cuts many families are making. "In these hard economic times most girls can't afford a $300 prom dress, so all our modest prom dresses are priced under $150, and most are under $90."
