In response to customer demand, Ibstock (www.ibstock.com)
As one of the UK’s most popular bricks, the Ivanhoe range offers a choice of colour and tone to meet virtually any building situation, including RMI and high value, low volume housing.
The lighter pink, cream and orange mixes of the Ivanhoe Olde Village and Athena Blend, contrast with the red orange appearance and weathered dark tones of the Antique. All Ivanhoe bricks feature a distinctive, hand-thrown creased texture style and the complete colour range now stretches from a creamy pink through reds and multis to dark and burnt red blends.
This range of complementary colours, including the multis and blends, allows contractors to mix and match subtly to achieve precisely the look they require to blend in with existing buildings, or meet the architect’s designs. In addition, Ivanhoe is available in the full range of special shapes and cut and bond shapes, offering great choice to meet design requirements.
All the new Ivanhoe bricks have the highest F2 frost tolerance and T2 R1 size tolerance under the new BS EN 771-1 standard for facing bricks. They measure 215 x 102 x 65 mm, enabling them to be used in most masonry applications and elevations.
Because of Ibstock’s technical support and backup, low delivery mileage, availability and range of special shapes, Ivanhoe is one of the best value bricks in the building industry and is preferred by many builders to foreign imports
