For the past seven years Van & Truck World – Collingwood, has operated as a franchise under the direction of Rick and Sue Hawken. As of January 26, 2009 Rick and Sue have moved on to other interests and the corporation known as Action Van & Truck World has taken over the Collingwood location to continue service to the area.
The retail store is located at 80 High St. in Collingwood, phone # 705-446-0666, and is under new management with Mrs. Barbara Cudia acting as store manager. Barbara has been with Action Van & Truck World for the past eight years in the Barrie location, and is looking forward to working in the Collingwood area. Bill Beasley has been the technician at the Collingwood location since it opened in 2002 and he will continue on with the company.
Action Van & Truck World currently operates 20 retail locations in Ontario, as well as a distribution warehouse, which services not only our retail locations but also our wholesale, jobber and fleet customers. The parent company, Action Group of Companies, is based in Moncton, New Brunswick and includes an Atlantic distribution warehouse, and our sister company, Action Truck Caps and Accessories which currently has 7 retail locations.
