March 6, 2009 - PRLog -- Make Your Own Change is a new motivational blog that was recently launched - at the beginning of March 2009. The first post was published on March 2nd.

You can read the self-description of the blog at http://makeyourownchange.com/about/ where the author starts out with a disclaimer:

"Let me preface my opinions and thoughts with this: I might be wrong. I may have been misinformed. I will most likely make a fool of myself at some point or another. It comes with the job of being outspoken.

However:
I am trying to make a positive difference. Before you point your finger and scoff, make sure that you can you say the same of yourself, or your criticism will not be taken seriously."

The blog's goal is to reach a wide audience of readers at any age, in any situation, and inspire them to become a better person. Whether you are a successful business person or a high school student barely scraping by, this blog is for you. If you have been feeling down about yourself, or need someone to light a fire in your heart to be more, or to reach out to the world, and figure out what life is all about, this blog is here to inspire that kind of thinking.

The name "Make Your Own Change" was inspired because of the lack of action seen around the nation's communities today. People aren't working together, and they love to sit at home complaining about events without actually trying to make changes about the things they love to complain about.

When was the last time you just fixed a problem instead of complaining about it first? If you're having a hard time remembering, maybe you should head on over yourself.
