A New Process reduces Ammonia & Airborne Pathogens within Poultry, Swine and Bovine Operations.

Philadelphia, Mississippi - March 6, 2009 – After testing for two years the Zona Way process provides significant reduction of Ammonia and Pathogens within Broiler, Breeder and Hatchery sites and can now be applied to swine and bovine operations.

Wayne Zona of Automation Controls has been fine tuning this natural process within a four house poultry farm for two years. The results have been very successful. This project was conducted to see if the weight of poultry could be naturally increased during a growth cycle without any ill effects to poultry. In addition, reduce feed conversion ratios by reducing significantly the amounts of Ammonia, Bacteria and Viruses in the air and water within this test farm. Proprietary ultraviolet light units and electronic systems were developed and installed in each house. Cool cells of the poultry houses were treated with Titanium Dioxide (TiO2). This reduced biofilm and bacteria build up on cool cells and allowed them to function more efficiently. Two ultraviolet light water units were installed, one per well to eliminate Cryptosporidium, Giardia Lamblia, and potential Avian Flu transmitted by water from infected free flying birds and other Waterborne Diseases. This process will now extend into the breeder and hatchery side of raising poultry. This process is now patent pending and is called the Zona Way. There are very good and quick returns on investment for broiler, breeder and hatchery facilities.
The Zona Way is the only natural complete process that addresses all aspects of integrated poultry, swine and bovine industries without touching the animals. “Whether you have a meat or poultry processing and packing facility we extend the shelf life of your products,” says Wayne Zona, “and for poultry we will increase hatchability and livability from breeders and hatcheries. People that are in the poultry industry come and visit our poultry houses and they are amazed that they can talk forty minutes inside our treated houses without having to leave because of ammonia. A neighbor came by one day and asked us, “Why we stopped raising chickens?” We asked him why asked. He said, “For the past ten years this farm had the strongest stink of ammonia in the county, now it’s gone.” Zona replied, “We were tired of fighting the battle and we decided to win the war.” We told him that we were still raining chickens, we took him on a tour and he was amazed that he couldn’t smell ammonia in the houses.  We informed him that by using our process ammonia was under 8 parts per million and pathogens were gone.
Automation Controls has developed and installed new and cost saving products, methods and systems for many years in the communications, agriculture and automotive industries. For more information on this process and TiO2 go to: www.airbornediseasesolutions.com where you can download the PDF files.
