Yoodoo.com, based at the University of Warwick Science Park’s Binley Innovation Centre, have been asked by BBC Coventry and Warwickshire to give Sky Blues fans the opportunity to send their messages of support to the Sky Blues squad ahead of their FA Cup quarter-final tie with Chelsea.
The online, personalised greetings card specialists have produced a giant good luck card for fans to sign ahead of Saturday’s encounter with last season’s Premier League and Champions League runners-up.
The 4ft card was commissioned by BBC Coventry and Warwickshire and will be based at the station’s Open Centre, in Priory Place. After the card has been signed by supporters, it will be presented to Coventry City manager Chris Coleman and his team ahead of the game.
Harry Wright, business development manager for Yoodoo.com, said: “We were delighted when we were asked to produce the card.
“As a local company we were pleased to support the Sky Blues, several of our staff regularly attend games and we are all hoping for a good result against Chelsea.”
Geoff Foster, BBC Coventry and Warwickshire sports reporter, said: “I have been covering the Sky Blues for many years and this is one of the most exciting periods in the club’s history.
“It would be great if as many fans as possible could get behind the lads and show their support by signing the card ahead of a massive game on Saturday.”
Karen Aston, centre manager at the Binley Innovation Centre, said: “There is a real sense of excitement in the city and it is great to see a local company getting the chance to play its part in the football club’s success this season.”
