FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - Mar 06, 2009 -
The Travel and Dining Association (TaDa) is proud to announce the release of its new blog for independent restaurant owners.  TaDa is a national association comprised entirely of independent restaurants and is dedicated to providing them with the tools they need to be able to compete against large chains and franchises.  The TaDa Blog, which you can read at www.mytada.blogspot.com, was created to allow independent restaurant owners to focus on running their business while we find the best that the web has to offer them.  Put simply: they scour the net, so you don’t have to.

Currently, there are more than 112 million blogs on the internet and more are added every day.  Independent restaurant owners barely have time to read their email, let alone take the time to find out which blogs apply to them and then read them on a daily basis.  The TaDa Blog does all the heavy lifting for independent restaurant owners.  We spend hours everyday scanning restaurant industry publications, going through the top business and technology magazines and websites, and reading more than 200 blogs.  Put simply: we scour the net, so you don't have to.

Our Blog was designed to help keep independent restaurant owners updated about what’s happening in the restaurant industry, compile the best articles the web has to offer them into one place, and provide them with tips and advice from a variety of experts that they can use to improve their business.  It is also a great resource for ideas on restaurant marketing, with posts covering everything from guerilla marketing to developing your restaurant’s community to the differences between email marketing and direct mail.  Plus, each week an industry expert with over 30 years of experience will share his secrets to running a successful and profitable restaurant with readers.

In consideration of tax season, you’ll find a special series of posts that gives independent restaurant owners more than just the usual tips and advice.  For example, in of the TaDa Blog’s posts you’ll learn about the Internal Revenue Service’s “Ordinary and Necessary” Standard so you can determine if a business expense can legitimately be deducted even though the IRS hasn’t explicitly outlined it.  In another post, you'll find a link to a slideshow  of 25 deductions you may not know about that was originlly posted on the Business Week webite.

The dictionary defines tada as an “exclamation used to draw attention to something to remarkable.”  Our hope is that The Travel and Dining Association (TaDa) and our Blog for independent restaurant owners definitely live up to our name and all of its connotations.
