After helping her daughter transition from crib to bed, Dr. Dew created a story to help little Eva – and many other children out there – understand their fears of growing up.
In The Big Bunny Bed, a young bunny feels excited, nervous, and even a little sad as she moves from her crib to a regular bed. This adorable bunny “tale” educates children about emotions and coping skills, and normalizes the ambivalence that is inherent in all life transitions.
Wonderfully illustrated in beautiful watercolor paintings by Dr. Dew’s mother, Kathleen Newcome, this book is as charming as it is educational. Parents will enjoy the simplicity of its message and children will love hearing a new bedtime story.
