MailSpect Email Archive, Compliance & Quarantine
Mailspect Processing Platform or MPP Version 4.8 is now available for general release and is being presented by bitbone AG, Mailspect’s German partner, at CeBIT 2009 in Hannover this week. The new version of MPP includes important new features such as enhanced email archiving and multi-layer anti spam and antivirus quarantine as well as content filtering. For example, MPP Archive can now store email signatures which enable users to better comply with German email retention requirements. Stored signatures strengthen the authenticity of archived emails in the event of a legal dispute.
Furthermore, bitbone AG has unveiled a German translation of MPP admin interface. Together with the German user interface, which bitbone AG previously translated, all of MPP is now available in nature German.
MPP’s enhanced policy management tools now enable the routing of email on the basis of their content at the user, domain and global levels. Improved feedback loops between pre- and post-queue quarantine utilities have hardened the product’s anti spam and antivirus protection. By combining 16 different spam filtering techniques in a single scoring mechanism, MPP offers the most powerful and flexible Open Source / commercial email security on the market.
