The Concrete Countertop Institute (CCI) has added a new benefit for alumni, a Student Spotlight section on the CCI website that highlights the work of successful students. Projects are described as they relate to the training received during CCI classes, and photos representing the work of each student provide examples of the quality projects that are possible after applying the newly acquired knowledge.
John Sanders, now owner of Concrete Living, was working in renovations. He found CCI through a forum and saw the beautiful products they were creating. Sanders saw that once you have engineering, you can do anything with countertops and CCI offered classes on the techniques he needed.
Sanders’ story can be found on the site, as well as a link to his company site. The exposure highlights the business each student owns and how their success is a result of the training received through CCI.
“I’ve taken the mix designs and hand packing Jeff taught us to create layers. Then, continue on with the mix and finally, mold it. Everyone likes the more variegated style. Now I want to see what Jeff is doing with GFRC so I plan to register for another CCI class soon,”, stated Sanders when sharing his experience.
CCI enjoys the opportunity to promote the work and businesses of their students. “When our students are successful, we are successful. It is an honor to share in their accomplishments,”
CCI is now adding stories to the site. Alumni are encouraged to contact CCI with their stories and photos to be added to the site.
