Parkingspots.com Launches a Directory Listing Service for Parking Lots in Canada!

Parkingspots.com is pleased to announce that it is expanding its service offering from just monthly parking to also include hourly and event parking. The service has launched as a live beta and is beginning to accept submissions to the database from parking companies across Canada.
Every event, every local attraction, every venue requires parking to facilitate the flow of people to and from. Until recently the process for consumers to locate a relevant lot or parking spot has been to drive to the venue and circle to find a vacancy. Thanks to the web, that process is changing. Drivers are doing their homework BEFORE they get in their cars. They are using the web to research the venue and parking options well before they head to an attraction/event or game. Shelley Stacey a frequent driver in the city of Toronto, was quoted as saying, “If I could find a service that would help me find the most convenient and affordable parking when I’m heading to a concert or game, it would make my life so much easier”.
In response to this, www.parkingspots.com has launched a directory service to help drivers more easily locate parking lots near their destination. Parking lots which enlist in the service are mapped on the website against event venues in that area. Location, hours of operation, and, at the discretion of the lot owner, event rates and hourly rates are included to help the driver determine where they’d like to park. Stay tuned too over the next few months as this service is rolled out across the US and onto mobile platforms capturing consumers on the go.
