NEW YORK, NY: RABBLE ROUSER'S FORUM is a new liberal/progressive blog that covers politics and media/arts. It is run by Gabrielle David, a writer and media production specialist who is based in New York City. If one must “label” RABBLE ROUSER'S FORUM, it can be best described as a liberal/progressive blog where politics and the arts intersect.
The Forum consists of three pages: (1) Page One, (2) Politics and (3) Media/Arts. Page One features David’s investigative essays, articles and commentaries. This month “The Backlash and Blowback to America,” is a series of investigative articles that examine America’s current economic and foreign policy issues. Part 1: The Makings of an Economic Backlash, was published on March 1, 2009 and the series will conclude in April. David also provides a weekly recap on the week’s current events.
The Politics and Media/Arts sections are primarily comprised of articles on the web from not-so-main-
The blog features links to David’s MYSPACE, IMEEM, FACEBOOK, YOUTUBE, FLICKR and LINKED IN pages. The Forum uses nifty tools like TELL A FRIEND, which allows users to bookmark, send emails, and send notices to blogs and social websites. PDF files are posted on SCRIBD so that users can printout long articles and essays.
David sees RABBLE ROUSER'S FORUM as a vehicle that “nurtures public conversation”
