DR. ESCOBEDO OFFERS THE NEW VASER LIPO FOR BODY CONTOURING AND SCULPTING

Austin, Texas, February 26, 2009— Dr. Escobedo is thrilled to be the first to offer the latest body contouring technology, VASER Lipo.  The ultrasonic technology of Vaser Lipo works by dissolving and removing fat cells throughout the body. Unlike traditional liposuction, Vaser Lipo specifically targets your body fat, reducing the amount of stress on other tissues in the body- such as nerves, blood vessels and connective tissue- significantly minimizing your recovery period.  In comparison to the earlier liposuction technology, patients who have used the VASER experienced less pain, bruising, scaring and were able to return to their normal activities in just a few days.  

“After months of researching smart and laser lipo devices, I elected to introduce a revolutionary procedure to my clients.  Vaser just happens to be one of my favorites and I am absolutely excited to offer the all new Vaser Lipo procedure” said Michael S. Escobedo, M.D.  “It’s quite simple; fat cells resemble inflated water balloons.  When the ultrasound wave from Vaser Lipo comes in contact with that balloon, it ruptures.  Since ultrasound is very specific, it will not disrupt blood vessels or the connective tissue.  This is important in reducing bruising, pain, swelling, and uneven results” Dr. Escobedo explained, “Other technologies disrupt the integrity of the connective tissue leading to skin laxity; tear or cauterize blood vessels leading to bruising and improper fluid accumulation under the skin; and may produce uneven results by failing to evenly remove fat tissue.  All this is minimized with the New Vaser Lipo”.

Vaser Lipo is used to treat the abdomen, flanks, hips, thighs, and chin.  Treatment sessions are generally between one to two hours.  Patients do not receive any sedation and return to work the following day.  Patients generally experience satisfactory results within a few weeks after Vaser Lipo.
