With the 2009 Golf Season starting up and the month of March roaring in like a lion across the country, so has orders for hole-in-one insurance. National Hole-In-One Association has seen a noticeable up-tick in hole-in-one insurance orders for golf tournaments already this early golf season. According to Brad Henderson, National Hole-In-One Association's Advertising Manager, "The snow and the economy have not really slowed down tournament directors booking coverage. It appears that charity and corporate golf outings see the importance in the cost effectiveness of running a golf tournament with large insured prizes."
The increased demand may be caused by large billboard type Sponsorships that are looking to reduce costs but still need to advertise to an important marketing segment. Perhaps another plausible explanation for the increase, instead of a lion that roared in, maybe it was a Tiger.
