Candidates Mayor Johnny Isbell and Council Women Dana Philibert will have the opportunity to show the citizens of Pasadena who should be Mayor. The North Pasadena Business Association will host a Mayors Forum at Sam Rayburn High in the Teresa Dodd Teachers Theater on March 11 at 6:00 pm. It has been a long tradition for NPBA to host this event, with the newly released North Pasadena Revitalization Plan there should be lots to talk about. NPBA's mission is to promote economic development on the north side. NPBA's first large project began by working with the City of Pasadena to obtain a Federal Block Grant for a beautification project along Hwy. 225 & Richey. With that success we followed up with the Texas Independence Trail Veneration Program, creating Historical District's and Murals Depicting Texas Independence Heroes and Battles on the Petrochemical Storage Tanks along Hwy. 225. With the Help of the Economic Alliance Port Region and Commissioner Garcia and many others this project has become a reality.
