Three interactive sessions will run on 18 and 25 March and 1 April at the Jubilee Library as part of the ‘Business Lifebelt’ package that has recently been launched to help businesses in the city get through the recession. The package has been developed by the City Council in partnership with Brighton & Hove Chamber of Commerce and Business Link Sussex.
The three events, designed specifically for retailers, will provide valuable advice from retail specialists and will feature ‘live’ case studies from successful local businesses. All attendees will also have the opportunity to create a practical action plan to apply in their own business. The events will be hosted by JD Training, themselves, retail specialists.

Soozie Campbell, City Centre Manager will be at each of the events to offer a welcome and introduction.
“Independent retail is vital to the economy of Brighton & Hove and we want to see this sector survive the recession and continue to prosper. These events have been designed specifically for retailers in the city. I would encourage all shop owners and managers to give up a little bit of their time and take advantage of all these free sessions which stand to offer them valuable support during these challenging times.”
The events will run from 6.00-9.00pm on each of the dates.
Places are free, but limited.
